Some stories remind us that movement isn’t just physical — it’s the way we grow, create, and connect. This month, we’re highlighting Whitney Rowell, founder of Miracle Mama, a brand redefining modern motherhood through ritual, community, and care.
What began as a well-loved recipe in her kitchen grew into Miracle Milkookies, inspiring a movement among mothers everywhere. Today, Miracle Mama stands as a symbol of nourishment and support for women in every stage of motherhood.
We sat down with Whitney to talk about balance, movement, and the rituals that keep her grounded — both as a mother and an entrepreneur.

RITUALS
O2: As both a mom and a business owner, what rituals keep you sane — and which ones are non-negotiable?
Whitney: "Movement every day. Getting out and walking or going to a class. I love O2, obviously, but just getting out and doing something for me, even if it’s 30 minutes by myself — doing something intentional that feels like I’m supporting my well-being."
PRODUCT
O2: Tell us about your Miracle Mama cookie. Has there been any pushback to this idea that a cookie can be for your health?
Whitney: "Our cookies are not necessarily healthy, but they’re made with all-natural ingredients — which, in the food world, is more important than ever today. One thing about me is I love baking. If I’m going to eat a cookie or something sweet, it might as well be a good one. We use real butter, real sugar, real, natural ingredients.
The thing about our cookie is that it helps increase a mom’s milk supply. When you’re in the postpartum stage of life, you don’t have time for much — you’re just trying to survive. Moms go through so much postpartum; you have to figure out a whole new normal. To be able to grab a cookie and have a moment for themselves is truly our mission. The ingredients in our cookies boost milk supply naturally, so they represent a moment for mom to enjoy something for herself while also giving her a boost."
GATEKEEPING
O2: Any motherhood myths you’d happily bust wide open (and never hear again)?
Whitney: "Oh my gosh — there are so many. I think people believe, 'Oh, I can be a mom,' or 'Oh, I can have a career,' like you can only be or do one thing. But I think you can have it all. Your version of doing it all just isn’t going to be someone else’s version. It’s about doing what’s important to you. You have time if you make time, and you can make time for the things that matter."
THE BRAND
O2: In what way does movement fit into the Miracle Mama brand?
Whitney: "It’s funny because when I had our first baby — day three postpartum — I was at home and just felt surrounded by chaos. I needed to get out of the house. I put her in the stroller and started walking. That was such a healing part of my postpartum journey: just getting up and going.
Miracle Mama, and the community we’ve built, is really the physical manifestation of that idea. It’s powerful and healing to be around other people going through the same thing but being able to show up exactly as you are."
O2
O2: What is your favorite O2 offering?
Whitney: "I’ve tried to work out at home, but being in a studio environment helps me. It goes back to community — it’s helpful to be around other people. When I found out I was pregnant, it was right when O2 was opening in Dallas, and I thought, I need to check this out. I learned that O2 has offerings inclusive for everyone and a community that makes you feel welcomed at whatever stage of life you’re in.
I’ve taken every class there, and the teachers’ ability and attentiveness are consistent across classes. Every class, you feel the energy of the community — it’s so encouraging, uplifting, and awesome!"
O2: Did you hear about our new Yoga for Littles class?
Whitney: "I am dying to take my girls!"
BREAKING STIGMA
O2: How do you feel Miracle Mama is shifting the conversation around the very real challenges of breastfeeding?
Whitney: "A friend dropped off homemade lactation cookies at my doorstep in those early, dark postpartum days. She said, “I made you lactation cookies. I don’t know if you’re breastfeeding, but I made them for myself and they really helped.” I thought, Wow, I can eat a cookie and it will help with my milk production? That’s crazy. But then it did.
It was this gesture of recognizing that breastfeeding is hard. It’s not a natural thing to have a baby and start breastfeeding immediately — you have to learn and teach your baby at the same time you’re learning and teaching yourself. I think Miracle Mama is a symbol acknowledging that this journey is hard. You deserve a cookie. You deserve support.
It also connects to the broader conversation around women’s healthcare — women are not supported enough. Miracle Mama wants to provide a tool to help new moms and help them find a community of other moms just trying their best."
ADVICE
O2: What message would you give to a brand-new mom on day one?
Whitney: "Try to get four consecutive hours of sleep — it’s truly life-changing. And also, give yourself grace. Embrace your version of normal and what feels good to you."
GIVE YOURSELF A TREAT
O2: You built a product that supports moms and reimagines wellness through cookies — why do you think that matters?
Whitney: "There’s a whole stigma around “bouncing back” after pregnancy. But after you have a baby, your body and brain have changed — you’re entering a new version of your normal.
Having a product that helps support women in that journey and creates conversation around those changes matters. It’s a reminder to give yourself space, give yourself time, and give yourself a treat."
STAYING IN MOTION
O2: What helps you stay balanced and keep moving these days?
Whitney: "Especially after having kids, I realized I can’t do everything — and I definitely can’t do it all without the right people helping me. I have a great nanny, my parents help a lot, and I’m so grateful that my husband is 100% supportive of me and my business.
I also have non-negotiables in my day. I work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but before and after that, I drop off and pick up my kids from school. I’m with my girls from after school until bedtime, and then I’ll work again after they’re asleep. Having my days structured so I can be present with my girls is really important to me."
