The best in practice and instruction
Following her graduation from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, Alexa was ready to pursue a new passion in life. After dedicating the past 15 years of her life towards competitive ice hockey, she decided to hang up her skates and shift gears from a life of competition to one of self-discovery. At first, Alexa was immediately attracted to the physical demands of yoga, however, it wasn’t too long into her exploration that she discovered yoga as a guide to improve her overall wellbeing. Alexa has since completed her RYT 500 through YogaWorks and the Colorado School of Yoga. She is now employed as the Studio Director at O2 Aspen where she teaches a variety of classes focused around Integrated Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. In her role as a yoga teacher, Alexa’s goal is to spark self-awareness in her students and cultivate an immersion of yoga on their mats and into their everyday lives. She creates space for self-discovery, manifestation of intentions, and a connection between mind and body. With her thoughtful nature, Alexa is able to craft classes rooted in gratitude that consist of a balance between powerful, strong sequences and deep, mindful releases.

As a trained ViniyogaTM therapist, Evan specializes in the holistic application of yoga therapy, empowering individuals to improve their health and well being through the practices of yoga. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in adolescence, Evan began her journey with yoga at an early age in an attempt to resolve the difficult emotional and physical side effects caused by chronic
illness. Her greatest struggle has become her life’s work and passion. She attributes her own health and well being to the science of yoga therapy discovered through her journey with type 1 diabetes, her personal yoga practice, and the guidance of her masterful teachers. Class with Evan is laser focused, thoughtful and inspired by human potential. Her biggest joy in life is empowering her students to manifest their highest self, so that they may in turn share their joy with others.

A practice that explores strength, balance and flexibility. Moving in an intelligent and thoughtful manner to explore the physical edge while connecting with breath.
David began practicing yoga shortly after he moved to Colorado in 2010. He quickly developed a connection with the practice, finding a way to explore strength, balance and flexibility. He completed his Colorado School of Yoga 200 hour teacher training with Julia Clarke and Gina Caputo in 2014. His practice and teaching are grounded in exploring and learning more about the physical, mental and emotional experience that is yoga. Every day discovering new ways to connect within the union of mind, body and breath. In class you can expect to find a deep breath connection, travel through thoughtful and creative sequences, and to flip your perspective as you go upside down and play with arm balances and inversions.

Eliza began her yoga journey in 2010 in an effort to heal from her depression and anxiety. She fell in love with the yoga community and the culture of it all. It gave her a space to feel safe, held, seen and supported on her healing journey. The physical practice led her to connect with the deeper layers of a yoga practice and yoga lifestyle. She turns to her practice daily because it is her place of solace; where she can return to complete presence to connect to her most loving and true self. Her teachings are about deepening your relationship with self love and understanding. Her goal as a teacher is to always be very intentional when she creates sequences for classes and workshops. She enjoys facilitating deep transformative experiences for personal expansion and growth. She does this by moving slowly and mindfully so you're able to unify the actions of the body, breath and mind. Rooted in Integrated Hatha Vinyasa yoga, she emphasizes the union of opposites in her classes - integrating strength and flexibility in each posture to support balance in her student's lives. You can expect to move through an intentional flowy practice paired with melodic music that will lead you to a fun/playful and/or restorative/nourishing peak pose. She always offers modifications and loves to check in with each student individually to deepen a student/teacher relationship.

Pilates Reformer Stott,
In 2011, Morgan moved to Aspen, first tried Bikram yoga, and fell in love with the practice of being present with and in her body. This was the beginning of a life-changing journey for Morgan, morphing into a lifestyle off the mat. Focusing on mindful movement, while demonstrating awareness, balance, strength, and flexibility are the essential skills Morgan aims to practice on the mat, to cultivate these tools for everyday life. Morgan teaches a power Vinyasa flow class, focused on strength, core muscles, arm balances, and pushing one’s limits to develop growth and accomplishment to take into life off of the mat. Her classes are full of energy, sweat, and fun, loud music. Morgan’s love for wellness, including body, mind, and spirit, is demonstrated in everything that she does. Morgan is also the Social Emotional Learning Coordinator at Aspen Country Day School. Morgan loves sharing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with the students at her school.
