As a trained ViniyogaTM therapist, Evan specializes in the holistic application of yoga therapy, empowering individuals to improve their health and well being through the practices of yoga. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in adolescence, Evan began her journey with yoga at an early age in an attempt to resolve the difficult emotional and physical side effects caused by chronic
illness. Her greatest struggle has become her life’s work and passion. She attributes her own health and well being to the science of yoga therapy discovered through her journey with type 1 diabetes, her personal yoga practice, and the guidance of her masterful teachers. Class with Evan is laser focused, thoughtful and inspired by human potential. Her biggest joy in life is empowering her students to manifest their highest self, so that they may in turn share their joy with others.

Aaron discovered yoga while working in the music industry for BMG in Los Angeles in 1998. During his 6 years in Phoenix, AZ, as co-founder of at One Yoga, Aaron studied various in-depth styles of yoga. Completing teacher training in 2000 and embracing a teaching path empowered him to develop his own unique style. Aaron believes that fusing music and yoga is a vehicle for enhancing a healthier lifestyle on and off the mat. He believes the yoga practice is a lifestyle: embracing patience, balance, and truth. His classes incorporate challenging Vinyasa flow with creative sequencing set to his unique mix of music. His honest and heartfelt classes encourage his students to use yoga as a vehicle to reduce stress, find happiness, move beyond personal limitations which empowers our spirit. Aaron travels around the country teaching workshops and trains many high-profile clients.
Alexa began her yoga journey in 2011 and quickly discovered yoga as a guide to better herself and the life she lived. As an instructor, her goal is to help bring self-awareness to her students and cultivate an immersion of yoga on theirs mats and into their everyday lives. How we present ourselves in class is a replication of how we show up each day. Alexa’s purpose is to bring her students’ attention to their bodies, tuning in and understanding its needs. She opens up space for self-discovery, manifestation of intentions and a connection between our breath and body. Together, we find a balance of strong, heated sequences and peaceful, deep releases physically and mentally.

Ali began practicing yoga in high school after a case of mono put her out of her Varsity Gymnastics season. What began as a way to gently rebuild strength quickly turned into a much larger passion. For Ali, yoga is all about connecting the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Combining her training with Sage Rountree, the foremost leader in yoga for athletes, with her studies in psychology and dance/gymnastics background, Ali offers a curated class that includes both a physical workout and the time to mindfully reconnect with your higher self. By releasing tension, creating space, and discovering new ways of being on the mat, her students walk back out into the world feeling renewed, realigned, and reconnected.

David began practicing yoga shortly after he moved to Colorado in 2010. He quickly developed a connection with the practice, finding a way to explore strength, balance and flexibility. He completed his Colorado School of Yoga 200 hour teacher training with Julia Clarke and Gina Caputo in 2014. His practice and teaching are grounded in exploring and learning more about the physical, mental and emotional experience that is yoga. Every day discovering new ways to connect within the union of mind, body and breath. In class you can expect to find a deep breath connection, travel through thoughtful and creative sequences, and to flip your perspective as you go upside down and play with arm balances and inversions.

Colorado School of Yoga - Integrated Vinyasa - 200 hour RYT
Eliza began her yoga journey when she lived in North Lake Tahoe in 2010, in an effort to heal from her depression and anxiety. As she practiced more, she could feel an inner healing taking place. She’s always been drawn to the mental and spiritual benefits of the practice because it is the one place she can return to complete presence; in an attempt to connect to her most loving, true self. Through creating an intelligent sequence, she aims to create a state in which students develop a deeper sense of self-awareness. She does this by moving slowly and intentionally to be able to unify the actions of the breath, the mind and the body. Rooted in Integrated Hatha Vinyasa yoga, she emphasizes the union of opposites –strength and flexibility- in each posture to support balance in her student’s lives. Her sequences are shaped like a wave – with a beginning, a peak and an ending; from simple to more complex asanas that have krama and alternatives for all levels of practice. This progression will invite students to feel congruent with how their lives are off the mat; in their natural vinyasa of life.

In 2011, Morgan moved to Aspen, first tried Bikram yoga, and fell in love with the practice of being present with and in her body. This was the beginning of a life-changing journey for Morgan, morphing into a lifestyle off the mat. Focusing on mindful movement, while demonstrating awareness, balance, strength, and flexibility are the essential skills Morgan aims to practice on the mat, to cultivate these tools for everyday life. Morgan teaches a power Vinyasa flow class, focused on strength, core muscles, arm balances, and pushing one’s limits to develop growth and accomplishment to take into life off of the mat. Her classes are full of energy, sweat, and fun, loud music. Morgan’s love for wellness, including body, mind, and spirit, is demonstrated in everything that she does. Morgan is also the Social Emotional Learning Coordinator at Aspen Country Day School. Morgan loves sharing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with the students at her school.

Olivia initially came to yoga, looking for a new form of exercise in 2010. After a rock-climbing injury that led to knee surgery in 2014, she slowed down and found yin yoga. Believing the intentional breathwork, slow movements, and longer holds improved her healing, she started to view yoga as more of a healing tool rather than a "good workout." She finished her 200-hour vinyasa training in 2014 with Jessica Jollie and began teaching shortly after. Over the years, she found that balancing the slower-paced, cooling practices with the faster, heated vinyasa movements allows us to find balance in our lives on and off the mat; yin + yang. For Olivia, linking breath with movement and allowing the breath to guide brings a calm, clear, fresh, and grounding energy to life. She encompasses welcoming, fun energy into her classes and encourages her students to step out of their comfort zone and to add some fun "play-time" into their practice. Pairing fluid movements with strength-building poses and a fun playlist, she inspires her students to "drop-in" on their mat and be fully present in their bodies, exploring where they are that day and meeting themselves with love and patience.
