Aaron brings over 20 years of professional experience in exercise science, kinesiology, physical therapy, functional fitness, Pilates, and strength training. Originally from Los Angeles, Aaron has worked all over the world as a consultant, trainer, educator, and director for numerous brands and entities in the industry - always preferring the role of educator/student most of all. Aaron holds a masters degree in sports medicine and kinesiology and over 16 professional certifications including pilates, yoga, nutrition, strength training, Prehab/rehab, and neuromuscular manual therapy - to name a few! Aaron recently moved to Aspen from Los Angeles where he ran his own athletic reformer studio in West Hollywood, and moonlighting at a physical therapy clinic in Beverly Hills. A wealth of knowledge, a kind heart, and a true love for people and athletic performance (and dad jokes), Aaron is excited and honoured to bring his talents and pedigree to share with the team at O2 Aspen!

Aisha, who was given the spiritual name Ma Abha Anand by her Guru based on her ability to create and share blissful light, first found yoga at O2 when she moved to Aspen as a snowboard bum in the early millennial shift. Yoga quickly became her tool for balancing an active mountain lifestyle. She took the leap towards teaching in 2016 by going to India and spending time in an Ashram where she immersed in all things Yoga and experienced profound transformational awakening. Albeit initially drawn in by the physical benefits of asana, which is still part of her every day practice, she now enjoys all the tools of yoga for achieving flow, for herself and her students.

Following her graduation from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, Alexa was ready to pursue a new passion in life. After dedicating the past 15 years of her life towards competitive ice hockey, she decided to hang up her skates and shift gears from a life of competition to one of self-discovery. At first, Alexa was immediately attracted to the physical demands of yoga, however, it wasn’t too long into her exploration that she discovered yoga as a guide to improve her overall wellbeing. Alexa has since completed her RYT 500 through YogaWorks and the Colorado School of Yoga. She is now employed as the Studio Director at O2 Aspen where she teaches a variety of classes focused around Integrated Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. In her role as a yoga teacher, Alexa’s goal is to spark self-awareness in her students and cultivate an immersion of yoga on their mats and into their everyday lives. She creates space for self-discovery, manifestation of intentions, and a connection between mind and body. With her thoughtful nature, Alexa is able to craft classes rooted in gratitude that consist of a balance between powerful, strong sequences and deep, mindful releases.

Jenna started practicing Pilates as a cross-training method while training as a gymnast. Using similar muscle groups as gymnastics, she could not get enough of the low impact, strengthening, and lengthening work out. Lauren's passion for Pilates is deeply rooted in her background as a gymnast and dancer. After moving to Australia in 2017, she studied Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and Barre in the picturesque Byron Bay, where she then spent the next six years teaching at some of Australia's most renowned boutique studios. She is dedicated to creating seamless, flowing movements that not only feel great but also challenge her clients to build strength, flexibility, and a deeper mind-body connection.

Tina grew up in a large family in Michigan and still cherishes summertime on the big lake. She met her husband in New York, and together they raised their children in Michigan and Arizona. Today, Aspen is very much home. "Pilates offers incredible versatility—it can be restorative and therapeutic or dialed in to build endurance and strength. I love crafting challenging, dynamic workouts for athletes here in the Roaring Fork Valley while also meeting clients of all ages and physical abilities exactly where they are at present. That’s the beauty of Pilates as a cross-training tool—it’s endlessly adaptable. Whether we’re returning to the classical foundations or exploring modifications that push you in new, exciting ways, there is always something in Pilates to help you grow stronger, move better, and feel your absolute best."

Rachel was introduced to Pilates by her parents at the age of 14. Suffering from scoliosis as a young child, Rachel needed something to help relieve pain and strengthen her core. When Rachel went off to college she continued her private Pilates sessions weekly. That's when her mentor, and teacher, asked her to become a certified Pilates instructor. Rachel is trained through Lotus Pilates, an extensive and comprehensive training of over 600 hours. Her instruction is a creative flow, focusing on deep core discovery while centering the exercises around the breath. Rachel's mission is to share her knowledge and passion of Pilates in an environment where her clients will truly benefit. Her understanding of Pilates and how it compliments the "Aspen Life Style" will enhance your experience and take it to the next level.

Born in Miami and raised in Dallas, Adria is a fitness professional with over 18 years in the industry. Beginning her career as a barre instructor, she shortly thereafter began her yoga journey and received her 200hr RYT certification. Realizing the benefits of expanding modalities, over the years she pursued cycling, kettlebell and personal training (ACE) certifications and boxing formats. Reformer and Mat Pilates have been her passion (both teaching and taking) and is grateful to be completing Pilates certification through Balanced Body. She would describe her classes as innovative, fun and thoughtful…with just a whisper of lunacy. She welcomes a challenge and encourages conversation.

Dean was first introduced to Pilates in 2017 and has strived to deepen his practice ever since. He gained his Comprehensive Certification in 2021 with the primary goal of sharing his practice and the benefits of Pilates with all bodies and people. As a Professional Dancer, Dean realized that Pilates provided him with more strength, alignment, and aided him with injury and fatigue recovery. In Dean’s classes you’ll feel tuned in with mind, body, and breath. He aims to challenge his students by leading them through an intentional sequence that activates the entire body.

Diana founded We Yogis, a yoga studio with 4 locations in Dallas, in 2012. After 10 years of building a wonderful community of yogis of all ages, she sold the final location in 2022 to step back from managing and just focus on teaching. She loves yoga and truly loves sharing it with everyone she meets. Diana has added Pilates to her personal practice and now finds so many ways to work it into her teaching. She loves to flow, breathe, sweat, strengthen, and reset her mind in every practice. She loves creative sequencing, fluid transitions, and mindful movement.

Karla Baumgartner

Karla is a highly energetic and passionate Peak Pilates Certified Pilates instructor with nine years of experience. Additionally, she holds certifications as an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, with specializations in dance, cardio kickboxing, Pilates, yoga, life and weight management, as well as pre and postnatal programming. Karla attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received her BBA in Marketing & Management and began her fitness teaching career at the University's recreational center (the SERF). After graduating, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she taught at Lifetime Fitness for approximately ten years before transferring to Lifetime's Dallas Athletic Club in 2012. She has recently joined the new O2 Dallas in spring 2024 and is truly grateful for the opportunity to share her passion and love for teaching, health, and fitness with others each day!

Kristen has been teaching group fitness for over 10 years and has taught a little bit of everything. She loves teaching Pilates because it provides great biomechanics to enhance longevity and improve other types of movement. Kristen enjoys teaching clients how to use Pilates to improve function and help them to show up energetically in their lives and continue other activities that are life-giving. After dancing for 15 years and a foot injury leading to her leaving the sport, Lindsey found pilates as a way to reconnect to her body while healing from surgery.
