Each new moon marks a fresh beginning — a time to pause, turn inward, and reconnect with the quiet rhythm within. At O2, our New Moon Flow is designed to honor this natural reset through a restorative, meditative practice that blends movement, mindfulness, and lunar intention.
“The new moon reminds us that renewal begins in stillness.”
Inside the Class
Led by Kerrie Martin, this replenishing lunar-inspired class begins with Chandra Namaskar (moon salutations) to awaken fluidity and balance in the body. You’ll then move through a restorative flow sequence, followed by a guided meditation and savasana to soothe the nervous system and create spaciousness within.
Each sequence is intentionally curated to mirror the moon’s quieter energy — calm, introspective, and deeply grounding — allowing you to release what’s no longer needed and open to new beginnings.
Why We Move with the Moon
In yogic and spiritual traditions, the moon reflects our emotional and energetic cycles.
Full Moons represent illumination and release: moments of clarity and completion.
New Moons embody stillness and possibility: moments to plant seeds for what we wish to grow.
Aligning your practice with these lunar phases brings your inner and outer worlds into balance. The New Moon Flow invites you to move gently, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the intuitive rhythms that guide you.
The Libra New Moon: Finding Balance This October
This month’s new moon in Libra invites reflection on balance — within ourselves, our relationships, and the spaces where we seek harmony.
Libra, ruled by Venus, is the sign of beauty, connection, and alignment. Its influence encourages us to release tension, reassess what feels off kilter, and restore equilibrium, both emotionally and energetically.
It’s a beautiful time to ask:
Where can I create more peace in my life? How can I soften without losing strength?
