On the Pulse: Brittany Van Domelen, Founder & CEO of O2

A year of growth, refinement, and forward motion—2025 marked a defining chapter for O2. In this edition of On the Pulse, Founder Brittany Van Domelen shares the moments that mattered most, the movement and mindset shaping her days, and what lies ahead for O2.

2025

O2: What has been your proudest O2 moment of 2025?

BVD: “My proudest moment this year has to be seeing how much the business has grown and continues to grow. This was our best year yet in Aspen! Also, adding infrared this year was really exciting because it’s something I wanted to do for a while.”

BRITT’S PICKS

O2: What were some of your top picks from the boutique in 2025?

BVD: “Introducing Negative Underwear, and being the only brick and mortar location has been great—I live in those pieces. I’ve been loving my Minka suit from Jorde—it is such a great price point for skiwear and I’ve been stopped on the street by people saying how flattering it is. I always love the Beyond Yoga onesies, especially the Chocolate colorway. I also am so excited we picked up Eterne—the sweat sets are so easy but feel so luxurious. And I have been loving my Krewe sunglasses!”

BVD BEAUTY EDIT

O2: Is there a Knockout Beauty product that’s been a game-changer for your skin in 2025?

BVD: “I have built up to the Environ C-quence 3, which I can’t live without. I also love Dr. Lara Devgan’s Vitamin C Serum. It has been super helpful for treating any dark spots from surfing.”

FORECASTING

O2: What products or wardrobe pieces are carrying you into 2026?

BVD: “I am excited to buy deeper into new brands we have been loving like Negative Underwear, and introducing more brands into our retail mix like Left on Fridays and Year of Ours.”

VISION

O2: What are you most excited about heading into 2026—for O2?

BVD: “I look forward to supporting our local communities in Aspen and Dallas, offering fair pricing and adding more classes. I also am excited for all the expansion that’s coming in 2026! We are working on two leases.”

MOVEMENT

O2: What movement do you think will define 2026?

BVD: “In 2026, I see myself moving back towards yoga. I’ve been practicing for 20 years and feel like my soul needs it. I also need to get some type of infrared exposure once a day.”

YEAR AHEAD

O2: What intention are you setting for the year ahead?

BVD: “My intention for the business is to fully put into practice the systems we’ve spent years building. As a growing company, we must remain adaptable and ready to pivot when needed, but this year I want us to focus on utilizing the organization and strategic planning we’ve already put in place, so we can operate efficiently and with greater confidence. On a personal level, I’m committed to continuing to promote from within and to building long-term, meaningful career paths for our team at O2.”

STAYING IN MOTION

O2: What helps you stay balanced and keep moving?

BVD: “For me, working out is not an option—I have to move once a day. I also am the type of person that it is easier for me to do something 100% of the time, rather than 50%. So even if I don’t want to, I repeat that to myself because I know that movement always makes me feel better.

I have a rule for myself: I don’t judge myself day to day, but instead look back at my week. You can’t do it all in one day but you can in seven.”
