Yoga on the Inside is an approach to yoga developed from years of dedicated study and practice. Rooted in the teachings of the Yoga Sutras, it emphasizes a balance of softness and strength while guiding students inward into a meditative, embodied experience. With a strong focus on structural alignment, this therapeutic approach empowers students to support healing across the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers of being.

In this weekend workshop, we will explore all major categories of asana — including standing poses, inversions, backbends, forward folds, hip openers, and twists — while cultivating mindfulness, self-awareness, and compassionate inner connection. Open to all levels, this workshop offers a deep dive into yoga’s transformative potential. We welcome students with specific ailments and are happy to offer therapeutic guidance when needed.

Join Eddie for this invigorating and active lunge class.  This lunge sequence, developed by Eddie 30 years ago will open your hips, stretch your front body, and help dissipate back pain.  These lunges are strong and satisfying!

FEET, KNEES, & HIPS • 1:30 - 3:30 PM
This session focuses on the feet, knees, and hips, with an emphasis on improving alignment, mobility, and overall joint function. You will work through a series of targeted poses designed to build strength, increase flexibility, and support stability in these key areas of the body. The session will also address common patterns of tension and imbalance, helping you develop greater awareness of how your foundation supports the rest of your practice. This is a practical, anatomy-informed class intended to support more efficient and sustainable movement..

Relax Deeply invites you to leave the stresses of the outside world behind and surrender to the present moment.  This session will be built on a series of restorative poses, designed to release tension and promote profound relaxation. Throughout the class, you will sink deeper into a state of calm by embracing the stillness within.

SATURDAY, JUNE 6:


HEALTHY BACKS • 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Your spine is the central pillar of your body, and this session is dedicated to nurturing and strengthening it.  We will explore a variety of safe and invigorating backbending poses that encourage flexibility, improve posture, and stimulate the energy flow along the spine. Each carefully sequenced movement will allow you to release any tension and embrace a sense of freedom. As you open your heart and expand your chest, you'll cultivate a deeper connection with your body's wisdom and experience a surge of positivity and vitality.  Embrace this session with an open mind and a willing heart, and let the transformative power of backbends enhance your spine's health and radiate throughout your entire being.

NECK & SHOULDERS  • 5:30 - 7 PM
Dissolve the burdens of modern living and release tension held within the often-neglected neck and shoulders. This session, you will be guided through a series of poses specifically designed to ease stiffness and discomfort in your neck and shoulders.  You will learn to soften these areas, allowing space for relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether you spend long hours at a desk or carry stress in your upper body, this practice will provide relief and restore balance.

Eddie Modestini is a senior yoga teacher with over 40 years of dedicated practice and teaching. Known for his deep understanding of the mind-body connection, he is a respected mentor and teacher of teachers, leading rigorous and highly regarded training programs worldwide. His teaching emphasizes structural alignment, mindfulness, and meditative depth, balancing strength and flexibility to support true transformation. Through compassionate yet precise guidance, Eddie creates a challenging and nurturing space where students of all levels can deepen their practice and cultivate lasting self-awareness and inner peace. He continues his studies with senior teachers H.S. Arun, Manouso Manos, Gabriella Giubilaro and Father Joe Pereira.
