Before Class: Go in Fresh-Faced and Hydrated

Start with a clean slate.
Cleanse first,” Mia says. “Sweat mixed with makeup, SPF, or heavy skincare can clog pores and trigger breakouts.

Keep hydration light.
Apply a lightweight moisturizer or a hydrating serum (like hyaluronic acid) to support your skin barrier and help it handle the heat.

Avoid heavy or occlusive products.
Rich creams and oils can trap sweat and bacteria, leading to congestion.

Optional: SPF protection.
If your class takes place outdoors or near bright windows, layer in a lightweight, sweat-resistant SPF for extra protection.

Bottom line: go in fresh-faced and hydrated, your skin will thank you later.

 


 

After Class: Cleanse, Rehydrate, Restore

Cleanse right away.

Rehydrate.
